Cloud-focused infrastructure and software provider Oracle has recently announced the launch of Oracle Cloud EPM for Sustainability, a new solution designed to assist organizations in measuring, managing, and tracking sustainability initiatives. The solution aims to help businesses comply with new sustainability-related reporting standards and address the growing need to manage environmental data from various sources.

Many organizations currently struggle with consolidating environmental data, often sourced from multiple locations, business units, suppliers, and partners. This manual process, often done in spreadsheets, can lead to slow, inefficient, and error-prone analysis. Oracle’s new solution, part of its Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform, utilizes workflow systems, data tracking tools, AI, and machine learning to streamline data recording, tracking, and analysis.

Key features of the Oracle Cloud EPM for Sustainability solution include collecting data from disparate sources based on IFRS, ESRS (CSRD), and GRI standards, scenario modeling capabilities for understanding risks and opportunities, AI-powered insights and automated alerts for anomalies, self-service capabilities for data visualization, purpose-built dashboards, predictive planning capabilities, and alignment with reporting standards.
